WHAT IS A SPRWMN
Meet Ambre

In early 2016, Ambre Dahan founded SPRWMN because of a feeling. A trip to Paris from her hometown of Los Angeles had led the fashion designer and mother-of-two to an exquisite cotton-lined stretch leather. This leather, when made into clothes back in her Los Angeles studio, fit like a second skin and made every woman who wore it look and feel like she could do anything. The timing of this discovery was fortuitous: Ambre had always drawn her female friendships from every walk of life, and in early 2016, she had begun to notice that many were describing a feeling, the same one that she was having. And this feeling was manifesting into a dream. The dream was (with thanks to Anais Nin): why wait for someone else to make your world, when you already know how you want it to be, and can make it yourself? Ambre made SPRWMN herself in Los Angeles for all the women who are having the feeling too.

Savoir-Faire
At SPRWMN, we understand the importance of high-quality essentials, which is why we only use the finest materials.
Our buttery-soft plongé plume leather and suede come from the same renowned French artisan used by Haute Couture fashion brands, a skilled expert who pioneered stretchy skin. His secret process is labor intensive which is why his mastery remains unmatched to this day.
What is stretch plongé plume leather? Stretch plongé plume leather is simply defined as a thin lambskin leather lined with distinctive stretch fabric bonded on the back. The stretch fabric ensures the leather’s elasticity without losing color or elasticity over time, giving the wearer a full range of motion and allowing the garment full recovery after wear. It adapts to all women’s body types yet shows an unparalleled recovery. The ultimate result is a second-skin comfort to your body.
Our high-quality stretch plongé plume leather also features a proprietary "extreme breathability" technology – a property exclusive to SPRWMN – which allows you to wear it all year long. Your body will stay cool in warm weather, but the material also provides warmth as day turns to night.
Our skins are colored by hand in small batches with vegetal dyes that are eco-friendly, chrome-free and hypoallergenic. It’s better for you and for the environment.
